My Grandmother Mary Ellen McDermott was born 1878  in Carrowkeel, Ballisodare,Co.Sligo  
She was the daughter of
John McDermott (Doorly, Kilmorgan,Co Sligo and Annie Scanlon (Kilmacowen,Co Sligo who were married in Ransboro RC Church in 1873
